eGames Foresees The Lost Inca Prophecy at Retail Stores (November 06, 2009)

LANGHORNE, Pa., Nov. 6, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Casual games publisher and developer eGames, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EGAM) announced a worldwide publishing agreement with Seppia Interactive today to distribute hidden object/match-3 hybrid game The Lost Inca Prophecy to retail stores across the globe with the exception of Germany beginning this February. One of the leading matching games of the year, The Lost Inca Prophecy was a top five seller at many of the industry's most popular online game portals.

"The Lost Inca Prophecy is the perfect complement to our current retail offerings, including Mystery Legends(TM): Sleepy Hollow, 4 Elements(TM), and Enlightenus(TM)," said eGames Vice President, Sales and Marketing Rich Siporin. "The game's unique combination of match-3 play and hidden object hunts further diversifies our retail portfolio as we look to secure shelf space early next year with other recently announced top-performing titles Adventures of Robinson Crusoe and Liong: The Lost Amulets. Today we are publishing the highest quality portfolio of game properties perhaps in the history of our company. We're confident these properties will contribute positively to our financial results in future quarters."

Players of The Lost Inca Prophecy find themselves following the dreams of Acua, a young woman with a mysterious connection to the Inca civilization. By hunting for lost scepters, restoring crumbling ruins, and matching Incan artifacts, players piece together the puzzle to save an ancient people from certain disaster.

"We are excited eGames will be bringing The Lost Inca Prophecy to retail," said Seppia Interactive CEO Mihai Dragomir. "Players around the world will get to join Acua and Juan and use their puzzle skills to save the Incan Empire from a long-forgotten prophecy."

Mystery Legends is a trademark of pixelStorm entertainment studios Inc. Enlightenus is a trademark of Blue Tea Games.
