WordStream Prepares for Continued Growth With Advisory Board Appointments(February 27, 2012)
BOSTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/27/12 -- WordStream Inc., a provider of search marketing software and services, begins 2012 with a highly talented advisory board in place. This team of seasoned business-to-business (B2B) leaders helps position WordStream for continued rapid growth in the search engine marketing space.
The new advisory board members bring a background of involvement in successful B2B and SaaS companies, including Constant Contact, LogMeIn, and VistaPrint, to help WordStream tackle further opportunities for success. These new members include:
- Carol Meyers, Chief Marketing Officer, Rapid7 - Meyers, the former CMO at LogMeIn and Unica, recently joined Rapid7 as CMO, leading the marketing team to drive Rapid7 into the next phase of its development. She brings extensive marketing and sales expertise and proven success in driving technology companies to growth, including delivering more than $1.5 billion in market value for investors through three IPOs.
- Chris Litster, Vice President & General Manager, Constant Contact - Litster, who has been with Constant Contact since 2006, runs the company's Event Marketing Business Unit, where he oversees all activities related to the company's Event Marketing product, which helps small businesses, member organizations and nonprofits plan, promote, manage, and track their events. Previously, he has held a number of key strategic positions for Constant Contact, as well as a marketing and management positions at IBM Corporation and Rational Software Corporation.
- Janet Holian, Chief Operating Officer, Gemvara - Prior to joining Gemvara in 2011, Holian spent 11 years at VistaPrint, in roles including president of European operations, executive vice president and chief marketing officer. She is passionate about helping early-stage companies define and prove their business model.
