Top Ten College Football Tickets on the Secondary Ticket Market(August 27, 2013)
Sacramento, CA (PRWEB) August 27, 2013
The season kicks off in just a few days and most of the biggest games have long been sold out but fans can still find college football tickets from the sports ticket brokers at Preferred Seating Tickets and theyve put together a list of the top ten college football tickets for 2013 based on ticket prices on the secondary market. Supply and demand fuels the ticket prices and right not these games have some of the fewest seats available and the most demand of all the games this season.
A majority of the games on the list involve college football teams in the top of the rankings playing against each other such as the most expensive game of the year with number one Alabama taking on the sixth ranked Texas A&M team on September 14th. The cheapest ticket to get in the game will set you back $388 each and that wont be a yard line seat. The last game on the list has Wisconsin who had a 4-4 conference record last year taking on Ohio State in what may be an easy win for last years Buckeyes but is still drawing considerable interest with ticket prices starting at just under $200 and up per seat. Notre Dame and Michigan both have a pair of home games in the top ten with the Badgers occupying the second and third spots on the list and also playing in one of the Wolverines biggest home games.
The following is a list compiled by Preferred Seating Tickets of the biggest games of the year for college football based on the cheapest tickets on the resale market. Rather than going with the medium price for each event Preferred Seating chose the least expensive tickets available in pairs because those are the most sought after tickets by fans searching for the best deals for college football tickets.
Top Ten College Football Tickets (On the secondary market)
1. Alabama at Texas A&M - 9/14 - $388 and up
2. Oklahoma at Notre Dame -9/28 - $369
3. USC at Notre Dame - 10/19 - $356
4. Texas A&M at LSU - 11/23 - $300
5. LSU at Alabama - 11/9 - $291
6. Notre Dame at Michigan - 9/7 - $261
7. Oklahoma at Texas - 10/12 - $255
8. Ohio State at Michigan - 11/30 - $226
9. LSU at Georgia - 9/28 - $217
10. Alabama at Auburn -11/30 - $211
The limited supply of good seats for these games is reflected in the ticket prices. College football fans are reluctant to sell the big games and will hold out for top dollar which explains why the top 10 games have fewer seats available than the others. A typical professional football game will have up to ten times the number of seats available for a big game says Greg Cullen of Preferred Seating. Its just harder to pry tickets out of the college football fans when all their friends are going to the game.
Preferred Seating Tickets has been buying and selling tickets for college football games since 1987 as well as all major sporting, concerts and theater events. Fans can buy with confidence knowing their tickets are guaranteed 100%.
