The Social Media Association of Michigan Announces Official Launch on October 18th(October 12, 2012)

The Social Media Association of Michigan (SMAMi), a coalition of social media professionals based in every region in Michigan, will host their official launch party on October 18th.
The organization will create a platform for social media professionals across the state to network and leverage their skills to meet some of the challenges Michigan is experiencing. Sola Obayan, Founding Member of SMAMi and Principal at BTO Solutions, stated In certain regions there is a wealth of social media education and opportunities for professional development which arent readily available to professionals outside of those areas. SMAMis goal is to provide opportunities for social media education to Michigan-based organizations and professional development to every corner of our state; so that we can all learn, grow and succeed together.
The launch event will take place at Tre Monti Ristorante, 1695 East Big Beaver Road Troy, MI 48083 on Thursday, October 18th from 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m. The evening will include hors d'oeuvres from Tre Monti, social media games, giveaways from Yelp and a prize of a Google Nexus for the best social media themed costume.
