The Leading Digital Arts Yearbook is Calling for Entries

Ballistic - the leading publisher of digital art books - is now calling on artists to submit images for EXPOSÉ 11. The latest edition of the premier computer arts annual, to be released in August 2013, will celebrate the creative talents of the best digital artists worldwide.

Ballistic's EXPOSÉ series has launched many careers, given hundreds of artists unprecedented publicity at no cost, and inspired countless others! This book emits an insane amount of inspiration and creative energy! It brings people together from all around the world, said EXPOSÉ 10 published artist, Serge Pikhotskiy.

By appearing in the book, upcoming artists could find their work placed alongside that of the digital art stars, such as Kris Costa, now a Senior Modeler at Lucasfilm, Soa Lee from Naughty Dog, and Pascal Blanche, Art Director at Ubisoft Montreal. Because of this incredibly high standard, many thousands of copies of EXPOSÉ are sold all over the world, with many making it into the collections of the top Game, Advertising and Film studios. Ballistic are interested in digitally-created fine art, whether it be 2D or 3D, for commercial use, or personal challenge. The EXPOSÉ 11 categories will celebrate the highest artistic achievement in a diverse range of genres and styles, such as Science Fiction, Architecture, Concept Art, Matte Painting and Steampunk, to name just a few.

The EXPOSÉ 11 Awards - each category will have a Master and Excellence Award - will be judged by a highly talented group of industry leaders and artists, such as Syd Mead (Blade Runner, Tron, Aliens, and 2010), Chris Perna (Epic Games Art Director), Stephan Martiniere (concept artist from id Software), Chris Sloan (award-winning Art Director from National Geographic), Don Seegmiller (author, teacher and Painter guru) and Alex Morris (architectural visualization guru)

As with all Ballistic Publishing publications, there is no entry cost, nor limit to the amount of artwork you submit. Artists with work published in EXPOSÉ 11 will receive a complimentary copy of the book and enjoy worldwide exposure in the most important collection of digitally-created artwork to be published in 2013.

The deadline for entries is Midnight GMT, 28 March, 2013. EXPOSÉ 11 will be released worldwide by the end of August 2013.
