About Vidya Books LLC

The word Vidya is an ancient Sanskrit term that encapsulates all of knowledge and education. Founder Rashmi Singh established Vidya Books LLC after discovering that her children/California's students were only learning partial historical information. Seeking to change historical misconceptions and broaden minds, Vidya Books began to publish a variety of books, including kids' books, books teaching about India in the U.S. and U.S. cultural history books, to introduce the public to the rich culture of South Asia and to enlighten people by presenting alternative points of views on the truths about immigration stories.
