San Francisco Giants Launches Jive To Drive Home Collaborative Workstyle Across Ballpark

PALO ALTO, Calif., June 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Jive Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: JIVE) today announced the San Francisco Giants are now using its enterprise collaboration platform within the @Cafe, the first-of-its-kind social media headquarters at AT&T Park. Using Jive, the @Cafe social media staff communicates with one another before, during and after games to ensure they are in sync with game day information that is shared via social activity on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram.

The @Cafe staff is using Jive to gather and internally communicate information about game day promotions, contests, #hashtags, visiting VIPs and game updates, which enables them to share the information seamlessly with fans. Additionally, the staff can efficiently communicate about issues in the @Cafe, and closely align on when and how the issues are resolved, which had previously been a challenge using only email.
