Renowned Engineering Experts Join Knovel's Editorial Advisory Board (February 06, 2012)

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 02/06/12 -- Knovel, the leading provider of a Web-based application integrating technical information with analytical and search tools, today announced the addition of James G. Bralla and David W. Spitzer to the company's Editorial Advisory Board.

Launched in 2009 to inform the development and prioritization of Knovel's ongoing additions of content and editorial features, Knovel's Editorial Advisory Board is a checkpoint in the company's product development process. The Board is comprised of industry experts with deep engineering experience and the vision to keep a step ahead of trends.

"Impactful, trustworthy and interactive content is the foundation of our business," says Meagan Cooke, Knovel's director of content strategy. "Our Editorial Advisory Board plays a critical role in ensuring that we provide the content that engineers will value. The Board helps us to identify and prioritize new content initiatives and opportunities, and they keep us informed of trends in their industries. Working with them is one way we ensure that the quality of all Knovel content remains the best in the industry."

Both advisory board members have long tenures in industry and content development experience. Bralla is the author or editor of several renowned titles including Handbook of Manufacturing Processes, Design for Manufacturability (2007) and Design for Excellence (1996). He was vice president of operations, now retired, at Alpha Metals, Inc.
