Palringo sets up office in the Middle East, Dubai

Palringo, the UK based award winning instant messaging application designed specifically for use on mobile phones with over 22 Million downloads has opened up its first international office in Dubai. Its first hire for the region is Jigar Budhdev who will look after Sales & Marketing. Jigar is a mobile industry veteran with over 12 years experience and was most recently the GM for Nimbuzz in the Middle East.

In addition Palringo is delighted to announce Najam Kidwai has joined as their Advisor for the Middle East. Mr. Kidwai brings years of valuable experience as an entrepreneur, CEO and VC investor in Internet, digital media, technology, and entertainment sectors.

Mr. Kidwais extensive entrepreneurial and investment experience as well as his wide network of relationships in Silicon Valley, Europe and MENA will make an invaluable contribution to Palringo, says Tim Rea, CEO. In particular, we are excited about his unique track record of building successful mobile companies in developing countries, not just in developed ones.
