Official PFA Facebook page for Mario Balotelli sees impressive growth as Transfer Window closes

(PRWEB UK) 4 September 2014

The summer transfer window is now closed and all eyes are now firmly focused back on the Premier League season and the stars they will be following.

Several players that have been transferred this summer either on loans or contracts like Mario Balotelli will be carrying the dreams of fans and in Liverpools case looking to get them into the Champions League for a second consecutive year.

Football fans have flocked to the Official Mario Balotelli PFA Facebook page in search of news and updates on the new Liverpool striker, creating a surge in growth and interaction. Post reach on his Facebook page have increased by as much as 50% in the past day.

Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait has this to say: The coming season at Liverpool offers a great deal of hope with something of a transition from the Suarez period with a number of new players to reinvigorate the squad. Balotelli, known to be something of a showman could be pivotal to the Clubs success this season and the manager Rodgers knows that building on the success of last season will be crucial. We have some great Facebook pages for PFA members and are extremely proud to be helping them with their social media presence with great content that their fans are really responding to.

Jason Hope, Content Manager of DSG believes that the players media exposure is sure to increase with the Premier League season fast approaching: We have been supporting the PFA and their players for several years now in this highly rewarding partnership. Mario Balotelli is a striker who has progressed in Italy and will be a great addition to the league this season. We are all excited to see what happens this season with Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool closely matched last season and looking to improve. Liverpool without Suarez and with the additional European games will be interesting to watch and who knows what they can achieve with their new signings.

Digital Sports Group are the official partners of the PFA and publish sites such as Football.co.uk, Sport.co.uk and the Footymad network.
