New York Times Editors Wind Down at Frames Bowling Lounge After Super Bowl

New York, NY (PRWEB) February 03, 2014

For the third year and counting, Sports Editors at the NY Times have crossed over Eighth Avenue after midnight to gather at Frames Bowling Lounge, conveniently located on the second floor of the Port Authority Building, which is just a few hundred feet from their headquarters on West 40th street.

The writing staff gathers to release the tension of a hectic few weeks of NFL sports reporting culminating in the Super Bowl, and kick back with cocktails, great food, games and camaraderie.

Frames Bowling Lounge stays open late to accommodate the 30+ members of the sports department, and keeps their bars and kitchen open to make sure these dedicated editors are fed and can enjoy some well deserved beers and cocktails.

Frames is well known for hosting iconic athletes such as Knicks stars Carmelo Anthony and Raymond Felton, and Giants quarterback Eli Manning, who arrived with his entire team on a chartered bus during training season for a night out, with Coaches and all 90 Players in tow.

The Times editorial staff started arriving around midnight and stayed well past 2am.
