Man United v Liverpool will be live on football.co.uk(March 12, 2014)
(PRWEB UK) 12 March 2014
Undoubtedly the fixture of the weekend pits the Red Devils against the Reds in a crucial Premier League game. United find themselves in the unfamiliar position going into this match of looking to salvage one of their worst seasons in the Premier League era. They are running out of opportunities to change the tide and are left with an outside chance of a top-four finish if results go their way. A win against Liverpool would be a major shot in the arm to a side that has struggled with form and confidence. The weekend game against West Brom which they won convincingly showed real promise, particularly the interplay between Rooney and Mata. In contrast Liverpool are sitting second in the league, have the most potent attack in European football with Suarez and Sturridge and are putting the performances in to suggest they have a fair chance of lifting their first ever Premier League title.
Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say This is one of those games that have the weight of history, tradition and passion always boiling beneath the surface and a game that both sides would find a draw unsatisfactory. It is arguably the premier bragging right contest that you only get with the English Leagues most successful teams. It has obviously helped Liverpool that they do not have the difficulties their rivals have with balancing the demands of European football but that aside Rodgers has forged a promising team capable of winning titles, pure and simple. We will be following the game live on our website football.co.uk
Jason Hope, Content Manager of DSG believes that this match will prove the end of a serious title challenge from Liverpool I would say that Manchester United have already turned a corner, the match at the weekend was played by the missing United and the only surprise for me is that it has taken so long for them to arrive. Liverpool have played well but have struggled with consistency and I would expect a Man United win at home, especially after the West Brom demolition. West Brom have been a team that others higher in the league have struggled with so its an indication of how good that 3-0 was and there should have been more goals. Whatever happens we can be sure of one of the games of the season and we would be delighted if you joined us on football.co.uk for the game.
