Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Shopping Aid for Parents (OKK-236)(December 11, 2013)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) December 11, 2013
Bringing your children along on a shopping trip can be difficult for parents. In order to keep them occupied and engaged, an inventor from Oklahoma City, Okla., developed the SHOP AWAY.
The invention keeps the child occupied and entertained. It is usable to hold any size of device (smartphone, tablet computer, etc.). It features a hands-free design that keeps the device easily accessible and protected during use.
It is usable on a shopping cart, high chair or stroller. Additionally, the invention can be used to hold grocery lists, recipes, calculators, a purse, sippy cup, etc.
The inventor's personal experience provided the inspiration for the idea. "I needed a distraction for my daughter in order to be able to shop," she said. "She loves to use my tablet computer for watching videos and playing games. I came up with this idea so that she could use it easily while I shop."
The original design was submitted to the Oklahoma City office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
