Inventor and InventHelp Client Develops Play-Calling Aid for Football Teams (LAX-465)(June 10, 2014)
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) June 10, 2014
"It can be difficult for coaches to tell their quarterbacks which plays need to be executed, especially after the recent play-stealing scandal," said an inventor from Woodland Hills, Calif. "To provide a better way for coaches to call plays to quarterbacks, I came up with this system."
He developed the patent-pending PLAYBAND to make it easier for coaches to communicate directly with players on the field. The unit enables a player to easily determine which plays are being called, even above significant crowd noise. The system enhances stealth, and thus performance on the field. It also ensures that the opposing team cannot deduce which plays are being called.
Additionally, this can be utilized for any sport that uses play calling to help speed up the games and make communication easier. This keeps the game exciting and fast-moving as the entire team will be aware of the plays. Furthermore, the invention eliminates guesswork and confusion, which eliminates the need for huddles or time-outs.
The original design was submitted to the Los Angeles office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
