Insoles and Beyond Has NCAA Cross Country Head Coach Liz Wort Test currexSole RunPro Insoles

Chapel Hill, North Carolina (PRWEB) February 11, 2014

Liz Wort knows a thing or two about running. Shes been doing it since she was in the seventh grade, when a friends father saw her raw talent and encouraged her to join the local club track team. From middle school club track to the Olympic trials for the 2008 Summer Games, Wort has seen more than her fair share of the track (and the trails). She loved running in high school. She loved running while earning her undergraduate degree from Duke University, where she was a school MVP, a conference champion, an NCAA Regional champion, and a three-time All American. Now as a coach, she loves developing athletes who have their own love of running and aspirations of greatness. Shes been a coach for a handful of years now, but her teams consistently do well in their conferences, and she has already coached one star athlete to an NCAA 10k individual track and field title.

We connected with Coach Wort and sent her a pair of our new currexSole RunPro insoles to get her professional opinion of them. We love the RunPros for the stability they provide while remaining flexible and slim. Liz loved them, too. Very comfortable!! she exclaimed when we asked what she thought of them. As someone with flat feet and a tendency to overpronate, she wears running shoes with built-in correction. The RunPro insoles were an ideal supplement to the correction that her shoes already provide. Sometimes insoles or orthotics can hurt your foot because they offer too much correction and these do not do that, she says.

The secret to the balance that the currexSole RunPro insole offers lies in the Dynamic Arch Technology, or DAT. This shaping technology provides a supportive cushion for the heel and arch, guiding the foot into its best, most efficient, most stable position. In this optimized posture, the entire body benefits. Weight is distributed evenly, pressure points are eliminated, and the joints of the foot, ankle, knees, and hips are able to perform at top capacity.

Liz has experienced the benefits of the DAT. I believe the DAT in the RunPro helped support the inner arch of my foot, which I tend to roll in on, she said. By keeping it supported, that allows my shin and knee to fall into a comfortable stride that doesn't put strain anywhere. And as a runner who had her sights on the Olympics at one point, she knows when her stride is good.

Lately she has taken some of the pressure off her own training efforts. Past achievements, her current focus on work, and some lingering injuries have set the stage for an easier running regimen. I have become a recreational runner and I love it! she says of her current activity level, which still involves running almost every day. Doing less is better for me right now. On the horizon lie tennis and golf, for a change of pace. But ultimately, and no matter what, she still loves running. You can see some awesome things via running that you can't see any other way, she says, and we couldnt agree more. Visit our blog to read more about Liz and her review of currexSole RunPro insoles.
