Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa Associates Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity as part of Hyatts Third Annual Global Month of Service(March 29, 2013)

More than 50 associates from the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs, FL will volunteer with the Bonita Springs chapter of Habitat for Humanity to refurbish two local Habitat Homes. With hammers and tape measures ready, Hyatt associates including General Manager Joe Murgalo will hang drywall and work on soffits under the instruction of Habitat supervisors.
Our company is powered by human care and human spirit and I cant think of a better way to do our part in the local community than to help others get a hand up, said General Manager Joe Murgalo.
Hyatt Regency Coconut Point will continue its commitment to the local community later in the year with the donation of two new Habitat homes valued at $50,000 each. Construction on these homes including the pledge of 440 hours of volunteer labor by resort staff will begin in October, 2013.
