Gillece Services Announces Gilleys Basketball Bracket Challenge

With the NCAA basketball tournament beginning in mid-March, Gillece Services has implemented a bracket challenge in which customers and other Pittsburgh area residents can participate for the chance to win prizes and to beat Gilleys selections. People can sign up now on gillece.com to find out when they can submit their bracket before the tournament officially begins.

After providing an email address, interested participants will receive an email alert from Gilley when bracket submissions are open. Once all brackets are submitted and the college basketball games begin, points will be tallied for each round of the tournament, from the first round to the semifinals to the championship game in April. Prizes will be awarded to the top 5% of entrants who beat Gilleys bracket and to the entrant with the highest total amount of points at the tournaments end. The top 5% of participants who defeat Gilley will win a $50 Gillece gift card. The grand prize, awarded to the person with the most points, will consist of $1,000 in cash prizes with the option to choose an iPad 2 or a 40 flat screen TV and a $500 Gillece gift card.

Gilley, the parrot mascot and well-known voice behind Gillece, has been part of many sweepstakes in which Gillece customers and Pittsburgh residents have had a chance to win prizes through participation. Gilleys Basketball Bracket Challenge is another way for people to interact with Gilley and Gillece and to potentially win a prize.

The NCAA basketball tournament takes place primarily in March and fosters many bracket polls throughout the country. Gillece Services will open bracket submissions a few days before the start of the tournament and close them before the first round of games that count toward the 6-round bracket begins.
