As one of the most innovative and exciting new talents in the Hip Hop Environment, Freshwadda Brooks has signed a new distribution and publishing deal through Jonathon Hay Publicity with Hoopla WideAwake DeathRow Records. This is a logical step forward for Freshwadda, who has already earned a powerful national Indie following and enjoys radio airplay across multiple commercial and Internet markets.

Included in this exciting new recording deal, you can expect to hear FreshWadda's conscious lyrics and rousing rhythm in a featured performance with Reverend Al Green on the breakout single (song title yet to be disclosed), which is due to be released early in spring of 2013. As part of the world premiere as the latest artist signed to Hoopla, Freshwadda is also prepping the release of a seven-song EP entitled The New 7 Day Theory: Day 1, The Cleanse, which draws on concepts taken from TuPac's final studio album, The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, released posthumously.

Through both solo performances and collaborations, Freshwadda has been opening his world to Hip Hop Fans, freely sharing his passion and talent. When invited to write a Christmas song for a Fontana Records compilation last year, he contributed Christmas Time Again. The album was recorded in collaboration with Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame Artist Jerome "Bigfoot" Brailey of Parliment Funkadelics, B.Stille of Nappy Roots, and a host of other bright new artists that were organized by Hoopla WideAwake DeathRow Records publicist Jonathan Hay and Sabrina Hale for JHP (Jonathan Hay Publishing). Christmas Time Again was Freshwadda's way to share his appreciation of the holiday and his reflections on seeing the holiday like a kid, through his children's eyes.
