Football.co.uk Follows Premier League Teams United, City, Chelsea, and Arsenal Battle Europes Elite in Champions League Showdown(September 23, 2013)
(PRWEB UK) 23 September 2013
The English Premier League teams have for the most part started strongly with both Manchester teams United and City opening with big wins. Arsenal got an important win to start their campaign with only Chelsea starting with an unexpected defeat to Basel. Digital Sports Group say they will be following all the action as the group stages of the Champions League move into full swing with some great fixtures. Manchester United will be looking to improve on recent years' performances and have a favourable group to do that whilst Arsenal may well find getting out of their hottest group something of a challenge with the likes of Borussia Dortmund.
Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say, It's looking like the 2013-2014 Champions League is going to be one of the most interesting in years and I think the underdog status that the Premier League teams probably have now will suit them down to the ground. Chelsea really need a big win now and I think they have yet to really click as a team under Mourinho. Manchester United should certainly get through their group and Man City have to really perform in the big games to come. Arsenal could be a surprise package I think this year and Ozil will only help their cause.
Simon Boynton, Managing Director of DSG believes that football.co.uk will provide a great venue for extended coverage of the Champions League. We have the perfect website and bundles of experience and enthusiasm for the coming Champions League games. We will be following the fortunes of Manchester United, Chelsea Manchester City and Arsenal with great interest and football.co.uk will be the place to be.
