Fixture Day proves a massive hit for Premier League teams on football.co.uk(June 20, 2014)
(PRWEB UK) 20 June 2014
June 18th started with a flurry of tweets and Facebook posts detailing who their clubs were facing and when as a run of tough fixtures can have a huge impact on form. No-one wants to start with a string of tough games and it looks like Burnley will start their Premier League season with a tough fixture against Chelsea. West Ham kick off their new Premier Season against Spurs who have a new manager and will be looking to get some measure of revenge against their East London rivals.
Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say: The Premier League is the greatest association football division in the world, attracting more money than any other league in the world and with sell-out crowds at virtually every fixture. The games to come are being analysed in detail by fans and pundits and the key Derby games planned. Everyone will now be getting really excited and will have their favourite fixture. We now need to get busy getting our tickets together for match day.
Jason Hope, Content Manager of DSG believes that this season is the most eagerly anticipated in years Much has been said about how refreshing it was to get a different top four last season but now Liverpool need to finish top four the hard way. Manchester United will be looking at proving their poor season last year was just a blip; they have a great new manager and Champions League football will be their goal. It will be difficult to predict but both United and Liverpool will be looking to make good starts and attempt to use the World Cup as a springboard to league success.
