Fidelity to Launch SEC Network August 14

Sullivan, MO (PRWEB) August 12, 2014

The SEC Network is coming to the Fidelity TV lineup. Fidelity Communications has reached an agreement to carry the new network beginning August 14.

Starting with the Fall SEC sports season, the SEC Network will be the TV destination for 45 football games, 100 men's basketball games, 75 baseball games, 60 women's basketball games, 40 volleyball games and 25 women's soccer games.

This is exciting news for SEC sports fans in the several SEC markets Fidelity serves, said Executive General Manager Andy Davis. This is by far one of the most requested networks to launch in recent years. Were thrilled to be able to bring it to our many customers who enjoy national championship caliber football, basketball and other Southeastern Conference sports.

Also part of the network offerings are studio shows, original content, spring football games, pro day coverage and national letter of intent signing day.

SEC Network will be available on the MEGAView tier, formerly Expanded Basic, in most Fidelity markets. Fidelity will carry both standard definition and HD versions of the network, along with overflow SD and HD channels with alternate programming.

In most Missouri, Arkansas and Texas markets, the network will appear on Channel 75 on MEGAView and 475 on HD Basic. Overflow programming is on Channels 76 and 476. The only exception is El Dorado Springs, MO where the network is on Channel 36 on MEGAView and 436 on HD Basic. In New Roads, LA, markets, SEC Network is on Channels 49 and 449.
