Fat Brain Toy Co. Wins Toy of the Year at Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair with Tobbles Neo

Fat Brain Toy Co., a nationwide leader in the specialty toy industry, has been awarded Toy of the Year for the Baby and Infant category for its toy Tobbles Neo during the opening ceremony of the Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, Germany. Fat Brain Toy Co. is the only North American company to win an award in the program since 2011.

Winning this award is the equivalent of winning the Super Bowl of Toys, said Co-Founder Mark Carson. This award really speaks to the quality and innovation that we're striving for in the toy industry. We cannot thank the jurors enough for this honor.

Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair is the largest and most prestigious Toy Fair in the world. Each year the international event draws over 76,000 buyers, 2,700 manufacturers and toy traders from over 100 countries.

The criteria for judging of the awards include: Play Fun, Creativity, Safety, Material and Comprehensibility. The jurors making the selection of winners in each of the five categories are twelve of the most internationally-powerful leaders in the toy industry.

At weeks end, the announcement of the winner of The Traders Favorite Award will receive additional accolades along with a prize of 20,000 euros.
