Everything up for grabs as Arsenal take aim at Man City

(PRWEB UK) 13 December 2013

Certainly the match of the weekend is the mouth-watering top of the table encounter between Manchester City and Arsenal. Football.co.uk will be following the match live.

With Christmas fast approaching we find the top of the Premier League contains almost the usual cast list. At the summit sits Arsenal, a position unfamiliar in recent years and with a few points of breathing space although a draw with Southampton whilst not representing a fall is certainly a stumble. Manchester City on the other hand have been a team that doesnt travel well, imperious at home but uncertain away. The fixture at home to Arsenal should certainly fit into the imperious box for Man City but their opponents are deservedly first in the Premier League having played the best football most consistently in the league so far. Football.co.uk believe this game has the makings of being the Premier League match of the season.

Head of Operations at DSG, Matthew Tait had this to say: Wow, what a fixture and just the game to warm us up on a cold December Saturday! We have the best team on home form, playing at home in Man City going toe to toe with the current best team overall in the Premier League. It will be a feast of skilful and slick passing and something tells me lots of goals. Manchester City have been ruthless at home, thrashing Manchester United, Spurs and Norwich and in doing so giving themselves the biggest goal difference in the league. Arsenal have been inspired and a joy to watch since the arrival of Mesut Ozil who has sparked a renaissance in the form of players around him such as Aaron Ramsey. If Arsenal were to lose against City it could put Liverpool within a games striking distance and certainly force some nervous backward glances. Man City on the other hand only trail Liverpool by a point and could conceivably go second if other results go their way. Their are so many ingredients that make this match an absolute Christmas cracker!

Football.co.uk will be providing a strong package for this Premier League fixture said Simon Boynton, Managing Director.

Its been a fantastic and unpredictable Premier League season so far with many teams in transition with new management, new players and new systems. The biggest change is that Manchester United have struggled in this transition in the League whilst Arsenal have flourished. Everyone else is more or less where we would expect them to be as the table matures. Manchester City v Arsenal is going to be a fantastic match and we will be covering every second on our network.
