Eat to Win Receives Endorsement from Several Top Physicians at The Cleveland Clinics Obesity Summit

The Cleveland Clinic held its 7th annual Obesity Summit in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 4th and 5th where Eat to Win, LLC exhibited their award-winning board games for preventing childhood obesity. This years Summit focused on the science and practice of obesity management.

Eat to Win was at the Summit to showcase its award-winning games. The FuNutritional Board Game is a 2012 Parent Tested Parent Approved Award winner and helps children learn the importance of nutrition, healthy eating and physical activity. The Weight Loss Reality Game, Ceative Child Magazines 2012 Game of the Year, is focused on the specific universe of children who are overweight and need to find an innovative way to change their eating habits. Both games were received with a great deal of enthusiasm by the attendees.

Michelle Levitt, MD FAAP, a physician attending the Summit, showed her enthusiasm, saying, Eat To Win FuNutritional games are a long-awaited, much-needed tool to help us move towards improving our approach to childhood obesity. These games will allow me to engage the entire family and educate them in a fun way that will help them develop the skills for sustainable healthy active living habits- thank you! Dr. Levitt is a Pediatric Weight Management Specialist.


Dr. Todd Pesek, a physician-scholar who specializes in preventive, integrative, holistic medicine also added to the conversation, Your game is the only one with a reasonable and relevant solution here today." Since 2004, he has been a Health Sciences Professor at Cleveland State University, Cleveland, Ohio where he teaches, researches and serves as Director of the Center for Healing Across Cultures.

Its refreshing to see that these doctors who confront the issue of obesity daily are so enthusiastic about our Eat to Win approach, said Jammi (pronounced Jamie) Roscoe, the Chief Executive of Eat to Win.
