Draw! Paint! Shoot! Exhibition Highlights Work of Graphic Designers, Illustrators and Photographers(July 17, 2013)

"Draw! Paint! Shoot!", an exhibition featuring images created by graphic designers, illustrators and photographers, will be open to the public this Friday, July 19, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at NewSchool of Architecture and Design in San Diego. Curated by the school's Digital Media Arts program Chair Linda Sellheim, the event offers a chance for visitors to meet some of the artists and learn more about the school's global design education collaborations.
Where: NewSchool of Architecture and Design (NSAD) campus in downtown San Diego/East Village. Exhibition hall area at 725 Park Blvd., between F and G Streets.

Who: Curated by Linda Sellheim, Chair of NSADs Digital Media Arts program. Sellheims background includes being an illustrator and a designer of toy packaging and clothing lines prior to joining Autodesks Entertainment division as a curriculum development manager and later as an education product manager. She is a member of the International Game Developers Association, the Association for Computing Machinery and Women in Games International.

About NSADs Digital Media Arts program: NSAD is collaborating with Media Design School, New Zealands most-honored higher education institute for digital and creative technology qualifications, to enhance NSADs current digital media arts offerings. Students studying Digital Media Arts at NSAD have an opportunity to earn a certificate in the specialties of graphic design and interactive design through Media Design School. Additional academic opportunities are being developed in collaboration with Media Design School that will provide students with in-demand skills in fields such Game Art, Game Programming and Animation.
