Celebrity NASCAR Driver to Attend Grand Opening for Xtreme Racing Center in Pigeon Forge(September 18, 2013)

After much anticipation, Xtreme Racing Center in Pigeon Forge is proud to announce the grand opening of their two brand new go kart tracks. NASCAR driver and Knoxville native Trevor Bayne will attend a special ribbon cutting ceremony in the new Pigeon Forge attractions honor.
Were bringing a new and exciting entertainment venue to Pigeon Forge, said Kevin Griffin, marketing manager for Perry Smith Developments. We have taken what people like about other Pigeon Forge go kart attractions and incorporated them into one centralized location.
An RSVP event, the ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at noon on Wednesday, Sep. 25. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, Bayne will draw three guests to join him in a race around Xtreme Racing Centers freshly paved track.
Guests to the grand opening ceremony will receive exclusive access to the center during the event, and will also be given free passes to return to Xtreme Racing Centers to share the experience with their friends.
The first of its kind, Xtreme Racing Center in Pigeon Forge brings guests the ultimate go kart experience. With two professional racing style go karts, the new racing center promises thrilling speeds of up to 30 and 40 miles per hour on average. In addition to their thrilling go kart track, Xtreme Racing Center in Pigeon Forge offers guests an exciting arcade. Filled with popular games like Temple Run, Wizard of Oz and Skee Ball, Xtremes arcade is the perfect place for guests to unwind after a thrilling race.
A Perry Smith development, Xtreme Racing Center in Pigeon Forge is located at 3144 Parkway in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Hours of operation are 10 a.m.- 10 p.m. on weekdays, and 9 a.m.-midnight on weekends.
Trevor Bayne began racing go karts at the age of 5, during which he won a total of three World Championships and 18 state and track championships. Since entering the field of NASCAR, Bayne has become the youngest winner of the Daytona 500.
